CODIV-19 Update

Tasman has now been using online delivery for 12 days to protect everyone’s health against the COVID-19 Virus.

Covid 19 Update

Dear Students,

We are now almost halfway through the lockdown and congratulations to you all for adjusting from the formal classroom teaching and learning to our current online delivery.

On Thursday 9 April you would have completed a survey to  help us to understand how we could improve our performance and provide you with a better online delivery should this lockdown continue or a similar situation re-occur

As you are all aware, this weekend is a major holiday time for us all, but sadly, this time it is not possible to enjoy the Easter Holiday as usual because of the current COVID 19 Virus.

Because the four-day holiday under the current lockdown may cause you some stress. We at Tasman realise this and want you to know that you are not alone.

To be sure we have provided you with our 24-hour contact numbers, they have been listed in the table below. You can contact any of these people at any time over the break now and keep these contacts for the future. We always on call for you and your needs.

If you think you may have the Virus, please go to the nearest testing station THEN contact the school in the usual way by email or phone. Your COVID-19 testing results must be provided to Laurice for our records please. (laurice@tasman.ac.nz )

If the current numbers of people affected by the virus continue to drop Tasman is anticipating  normal classes to resume either Monday 27 April 2020 or  Monday 4 May 2020.

If the lock down is to be extended beyond the 4 weeks advised by the Government then normal class dates will not commence until further notice Tasman will update you with a newsletter closer to the time.
